Paul Green is a business executive who delivers strategies for growth within the construction products industry with a focus on customers and team. As President of GMS Canada, Paul is responsible and accountable for the P&L, driving the financial plan and delivering the financial results of GMS Canada, including expense setting and management, inclusive of contingency planning. This is achieved by leading, guiding, directing, and evaluating the work of the leadership group including presidents, directors, and senior department managers. In partnership with human resources, Paul is responsible for the senior management’s career development including succession planning for self and all key roles. Paul joined GMS Canada in 2022, following an over 25-year career within the construction products industry. Paul’s past saw him responsible for The Gesco Group of Companies’ international presence leading the Shanghai China buying office. Paul is the past Chair of the Provincial Advisory Committee on the Apprenticeship of Floor Layers, having been appointed by the Ontario Minister of Training and Education. Paul also served as the past Chair of the Board of Bravo Services, a North American association of the 14 largest floor covering distributors.
